他主动参与推动法治监狱特色亮点工作，包括法律援助工作站建设、法治示范典型、阵地建设等，尤其是结合《监狱法》实施30周年，执笔编制《法治监狱建设白皮书》，先后和法制处、监狱学会、3名专家教授、科研骨干、领导反复沟通，历经数十次修改完善，最终成稿。
他积极参加法治监狱建设理论研究，完成局级课题《高度危险罪犯的管控路径构建研究》并以“优秀”成绩结项。汇编2019年至2023年度监狱优秀论文集，统稿形成23万余字的《香樟文集》。

他积极参与建设法制人才队伍建设，有序做好公职律师、法治员的申请、评聘，并统筹引导，在罪犯教育、政策咨询、会见接待等方面充分发挥法制人才作用。依托监狱平台资源，组织法治人才参加参加理论研讨会、法院、律师事务所合作共建，听取名师专家法治讲座等,拓展法治人才视野，提升法治业务能力。

作为与《中华人民共和国监狱法》同年同月诞生的监狱，青浦监狱日前发布《法治监狱建设白皮书（1994年12月-2024年12月）》。监狱目前已建立健全涵盖四大类、12个业务条线、共126项的制度体系，推进“民警对罪犯管理的一日工作规范”等执法标准化建设，创新形成了罪犯教育转化体系和技能培训矫正体系；打造培养了一支专业法治人才队伍。监狱始终锚定法治监狱建设目标，全方位推动各项任务落地见效，以高水平法治护航监狱工作高质量发展。
